Indications for Home Therapy

  • Recent marked declinein functional status (speech, ambulation, strength, endurance)
  • Recent falls, fractures, stroke, hip and/or knee replacement
  • Need for Home Maintenance Program to maintain current level of function

Medicare pays 100% for home health services when all conditions are met:

  • Medicare eligible
  • Homebound
  • Plan of Care 485
  • Doctor's Orders
  • Documentation of all services
  • Reasonable and necessary
  • Intermittent and Part-time
